AN INTRODUCTION

Hello, a little bit about me.

I am an elected member of the Glasgow Southern Art Club and the Buckinghamshire Art Society and am now living in Banbury Oxfordshire. I am currently showing some of my works until the end of December 2023 in the Empower Exhibition at the Mill Arts Centre in Banbury.

I have attended many life drawing classes and courses, and I have organised and ran a life drawing group in Queens Park Arts Centre in Aylesbury for several years. I attended ‘Life Drawing’ and ‘Drawing into Painting’ courses at the Slade School of Art in London.

My interest lies in using Life Drawing to create imaginative, stylised figure works, and life drawing has also led me to explore more Abstract Work using line and colour. I am also very interested in Portraiture and have endeavoured to use my experience to translate works into Mixed Media.

PLEASE NOTE THAT I WILL ALSO BE SHOWING MY WORK AS PART OF THE OXFORDSHIRE ARTS WEEK 2024. THE DATES MY STUDIO WILL BE OPEN ARE FROM THE 4TH OF MAY UNTIL THE 12TH OF MAY INCLUSIVE IN 2024. THE OPENING HOURS WILL BE FROM 11AM UNTIL 5PM ON EACH DAY.
